On Wed, 26 January, our students in Riga and Miami met, thanks to Skype and technology. The students exchanged greetings, and shared about their schools, the cities and their interests.
I had taught them how to say Sveiki and Labdien, and Inga and her students seemed to enjoy our efforts at cross cultural communication.
I look forward to seeing Inga and her students on another video conference in the near future.
I highly recommend the experience for your students. My students gained an increased sense that the world is bigger than our local school environs and neighborhood.
